Lightning Fire

On maple story for mages,which class is the best.clerics?ice/lightning/fire/poison?

what I mean is when you play in maple story.And if your a mage for example. Which mage class should you take on the second job advancement.The classes are ice/lightning,fire/poison,and clerics.Out of those three classes I need a suggestion of which to pick because Ice/lightning is pretty cool but alot of people suggest that clerics are the best for the second job advancement.If anybody had experience with a mage please tell me which second job class I should take.Thank you

Pros:
Very high second job damage.
Awesome looking attacks
Higher than average third job damage
Poisons fun to use ^_^

Cons:
After level 35, it gets really irritating to train
No second job mob skills
Lots of pots to maintain
Stuck in Ossyria your whole career

I/L-
Pros:
Can freeze monsters
Thunder Spear is VERY powerful
Second Job Mob Skills
Can train almost anywhere

Cons:
Weaker second job damage
TONS of pots needed for Thunder Spear
Not alot of Third Job spots

Cleric-
Pros:
Healing themselves (no mp pots ^_^)
Wanted party member
Has Lots of Buffs (Bless, Invicible)
Second Job Mob Skills

Cons:
Weak Damage
Slow when soloing
Can only train effectively against Unholy monsters
Known as "Hp Pots", "Supporters"
Stuck as a "secondary character" for your whole life
