What kind of wood is best in a bow?
I'm looking to buy a $ 200 English longbow. They are either cedar or red oak, but the owner thinks the most likely to be oak. They are always looking for the manual, and I'm looking for second opinion. It is a 30 #. Thank you! PS: For the price, and wood, is it worth buying? Or would I be better to buy a bow with another type wood?
