What will my job Glo tru field with the BDC?
I just bought a truglo 3-12 range and where it is made for the u-at 100yds and then next line is 200 then the next line is 300 ETC. I have on my 243 and it is not caliber specific so im wondering if my shots 300 yards will be accurate, because it is not caliber specific. also as a side note im shooting 80 gr Remingtons. o and I was wondering if it affects my acuuracy sugnificantly only having a barrel 16 '. Thank you
It is class specific and even specific bullets. They simply can not tell you that. It may be close. The second line can be 220 yards and the third 340 yards. I've never had a BDC. We went to MIL-dot scopes. With them, you can estimate ranges. We also print a ballistic table for each combination of class / powder / bullet. We can look at the map and see how mils to hold up or down to the distance in particular.
